Positive Affirmations
Creating a routine of saying positive affirmations is a great way to improve your mood and lift your spirits. Morning affirmations help you to have a positive mindest throughout your day which will help your to cope with any difficulties. Evening affirmations just before you go to sleep will help to remove any negativity you experienced during your day and promote a better night’s sleep.
Repeat these affirmations daily for a week and see how much more inner peace and happiness you feel.
Daily Forgiveness
As well as daily purification of negative thoughts and emotions it is also important to practice forgiveness. You need to forgive people for your own well-being, it doesn’t mean that you accept someone’s behaviour or how they treated you, simply that you choose to release them. Inner forgiveness is choosing to forgive someone and leave the negative situation behind and move on with your life. If we store anger and resentment up inside then it can eventually cause us health problems.
Think about the main people in your life who you have had difficulties with. This might be recently or problems that happened many years ago. Imagine the person is in front of you and say “I forgive you for all the hurt and pain that you caused me. Please forgive me for any hurt or pain that I caused you. I release you and wish you well.” It is best to repeat this daily for seven days to break down the energetic connection between you and the other person. If you feel that you need to do this for a longer period of time, then continue until you feel that any bad feelings or anger has been released towards them.
Gratitude
When we acknowledge and appreciate what we already have in our lives we open ourselves up to more blessings coming to us. It’s a bit like when you give a gift to someone, if they are grateful then you are more likely to want to give to them again. This is how the universe works, it is just waiting to send blessings into our lives. Another positive daily routine to get into is to wake up and think of everything that you are grateful for in your life and give thanks.
Giving to others and Tithing
It is widely recognised that we need to give in order to receive. Giving to others is the secret to prosperity. If there is something specific that you would like help with in your life then tithe to a charity or cause that helps in this area. For example, donate to a domestic abuse charity if you would like help with relationships or to a medical charity if you have a health issue. Be open to receive generosity and kindness in all areas of your life with gratitude.
Salt Baths & Salt Bowls
Salt water has amazing healing properties and many health benefits. Add 4-5 cups of sea salt (not Epsom salts) to a warm water bath and 15 drops of lavender or rose oil for emotional cleansing and if you need physical healing then add 15 drops of tea tree oil. Relax in the bath for 20 minutes and then shower off to remove the salt water. Taking a salt bath once or twice a week is a great way to give your health and well-being an extra boost.
You can also have small bowls of water with sea salt in them in your home or workplace to clear any negative energies. For example, you could have one in the living area, your bedroom or your home office. Regularly replace the salt and water when it has dissolved or looks like it needs refreshing. Dispose of the old salt and water down the toilet and wash your hands well afterwards.
Meditation
There are many benefits to meditating regularly, they include relaxing our body, calming our minds and experiencing peace.
When we calm our minds, we can hear our inner voice or intuition more easily - this is our soul guiding us. Our intuition and inner guidance increases as we strengthen the connection to our soul. When we are able to listen to our soul or intuition, we can more easily follow our true destiny and life path.
When done regularly meditation can bring miraculous improvements to your physical health, as well as your emotional and mental well-being. See our ‘Meditation’ page for more information on the mediations that we offer.
Two of the best-known prayers in the world to help you in our daily lives:
The Lord’s Prayer - Is an ancient meditation and can help in all situations, but especially if you are stressed or upset. Simply repeat it to yourself slowly. It is also great for helping you to have a better night’s sleep, say it before you go to bed at night.
The Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi - This prayer transmutes negatives into positives and brings comfort and blessings for different areas in our life. It is a beautiful guide to show us what help we should ask for when we are facing certain challenges in life.
